The New Zealand Biosecurity Institute’s annual National Education and Training Seminar (NETS) is being held from 9-11 August 2017 at the InterContinental in Wellington.
This three-day seminar provides a multi-sectoral and multi-agency forum for discussion and debate on how we can collectively minimise the risk of biosecurity threats to New Zealand. NETS2017 is expected to attract up to 250 delegates from all over New Zealand.
The theme for NETS2017 is Birds, the Beehive and Biosecurity: Capital Results, Working Together and the emphasis will be on collaboration between agencies, councils, government departments, NGOs and the community in biosecurity. Speakers will cover a broad range of topics, and range from international and national experts, to people working at the coalface.
A full NETS2017 programme will be available here soon, and registrations are expected to open early in May.
